The late Giger and Thomas G Fischer were long standing fans of each other’s art and music respectively.

I’ve been a huge Giger fan since seeing the cover for Brain Salad Surgery in 1973.

From what I’ve read - Giger didn’t give his permission lightly for his artwork to be used on album covers despite many requests. The music had to be something he connected with.
