I believe it was her first recording and pre dates Axelrod - I may be wrong but I think the Axe tied up with her in 67-68.

I thought soā€¦ I have never heard the record she did with him, only the odd track on compilation albums.

Of the two Axl related Mbulu LPā€™s I prefer ā€˜Free Soulā€™ to ā€˜Singsā€™ - For the Axe sound this is probably the best example

Neither I had I. I donā€™t think I had played it in a decade or so. Iā€™m trying to play all the LPs on my shelves that I rarely listen to while Iā€™m stuck at home.
