Pre internet I used to hang out for the monthly catalog from Craig Moerer - His company, still called ‘records by mail’ had (and probably still does) over 1000000 records in stock. I used to dream about the crazy finds he would come into buying out distributors and old shops of unplayed stock in the middle of know-where… I have the sickness

I tend to only buy records I REALLY want on vinyl these days, due to money and space, streaming is where it’s at for me now, though I’ll never get rid of the records I have.

You had to be in the know, and ask for the special selection.
