This could easily be arranged, but prolly not because of hifi discussion…

At the moment:
Lumin from @Ijrussell to see if it works ok on my internet.
DIY Bruno Putzeys balanced pre amp and DIY Aleph 30 power amp.
SP10, Rega RB300, Ortofon Rohmann, Lehmann Audio Black Cube.
Dad’s Kef 103.2s purchased circa 1983.
Especially liking the high-end fine-adjustment instrument next to the SP10 - disco-decks, eh?
Ed style emergency off switch
It’s for when he wants to change sides.
“33.3 rpm? K-TWOT! . . . . 45 rpm? K-TWOT!…” etc.
The mallet is actually there to force his LPs to fit over the mahoosive spindle…
For cartridge alignment, tis only vinyl after all.
Yeah there’s a distinct lack of reel tape in that set up
Did bid on a giant Otari, didn’t win though, but its probably only a matter of time before I get another huge thing I’ll never use.
You basically need to just get one of these. And then another one because two is better than one reasons.
No use for any more than two tracks, but yes, one of those in two track 1/4" please. MTR-10 etc.
And two will let me dub all the tapes @Mrs_Maureen_OPinion is going to sell.
ALL the VU meters.
ALL of them.
Indeed, pre-recorded 1/4" tape is far too easy to source
Do you think it comes with a technician whose only job is to change the pea bulbs in all those meters. And if there’s a sudden loud burst of music and all the meters move right, does the whole deck move left if the castor brakes aren’t on ?

I was thinking, if I build giant horns and go active, but wanted to stay all analogue, I could tape my albums to 8 tracks and do all the delays that way. @coco sensible huh.
Of course. They’ll be on the other 24 meters round the back.

Then it’ll spin round and round, like a record baby
