In my limited experience of scaffolders they do occupy a subterranean position on the evolutionary ladder. Back at work there was more than one occasion when I’d have sworn they were doing it deliberately, on the basis that no-one could cock up that badly by accident. Two of them nearly killed me once with a (deliberately) dropped scaff clamp (not deliberately dropped on me, but they were reckless about who was below them).

My recent experience of scaffolders is that they are happy to let the steel stay up until it suits them to take it down, your property being a useful place to store it until it’s needed again. The firm we used appeared to go bust so we offered it to another firm but miraculously the original supplier had re-started in a different guise & was tipped off to come & get it. Shysters all!

This is the first sensible thing you’ve posted all day. There isn’t a single problem that can’t either be caused or solved (or both) with a trebuchet. Give me 45 minutes with the Duppers, Tories and Labour and I guarantee the end of socialism, capitalism and dogmatic lunacy on the spot. Trebuchet is the way to a brighter future.
