When I first got in to racing it was through watching Swinburn, Eddery, Cauthen, Piggot . I am sad today
And my mum on 12th November.

Very sorry to hear about Rick Parfitt. I was a fan, but then I was a teenager when they were going through their peak phase and boy could their songs pack a sweaty dance floor …

The thing I liked about Rick Parfitt was he was always so self-deprecating about ‘only knowing three chords’. The reality was Quo at their peak were so tight it didn’t matter. Rossi and Parfitt playing a shuffle riff together, they totally bossed it.
