The 7308 is yet another SQ version - a little info in the top right Quick Reference corner of the datasheet.

That’s one of the great things about being an audiophile - you can indulge to your heart’s content without knowing the first thing about electronics. Apart from the occasional pisstake from @coco and others, you can thoroughly enjoy owning the kit and listening to the music.

Ah … PCC88 vs ECC88 vs E88CC heaters. What a saga.
For the record there are PCC88s which have the specified heater voltage when used in a 300mA heater chain, and there are other ones which don’t. 15 years ago, in an attempt to shed some light (rather than heat) on this I measured 61 valves. The results are in post #16 in this thread. There’s a lot of detail. If you’re interested enough to read it all then I’d suggest you make a cuppa first and sit down with that while you do.
