Have a listen to J C-L’s A Year With 13 Moons - very Flying Saucer Attack style wall of feedback. On The Echoing Green is a bit like Common Era compared to October Language.

Quite Duratti-esque some of the guitar playing isn’t it?

Thanks to @BoogerBenson and @spacehopper for drawing Belong’s October Language to my attention. It was the Duratti/Durutti-esque thing that interested me as Vini Reilly is my single favourite artist of all time. This is a brilliant record, I hear more Kevin Sheilds than Vini, but it is still a gem. I shall chase down the back catalogue a.s.a.p.

Have to say the WAYLTRN thread (or whatever the fuck old grumpy-arse calls it each time ) on the AA is consistently a thing of joy.
