They lay their spawn in tha’ pond a month after 'n’all that.

Thought I would start using the Sigma DP1X again, its old, slow and very fickle (easy to clip highlights and poor shadow/DR issues) but can be pleasing. Really works best as a daylight/walkaround camera which is what I should use it for.

The current Sigma Photo Pro software is essential to get usable files, the current one is quicker than I remember but you still have to then use Lightroom after on the TIFF or Jpeg for basic alterations like cropping and noise reduction.

Overall the Ricoh GRIII I had is miles better in every single respect but given the amount I used it, no regrets in selling it on.
