Album(s) of the year

Is Bliss - Strange Communication
Electric Retro Spectrum - Sub-Urban
Earth Tongue - Floating Being

Not sure which is the band and which is the album title.

The Guardian has Lana Del Ray at #1, here’s 2-50

There’s a whole world out there waiting to be discovered…

Several worlds. :+1:

This is good. Finders Keepers comp based on the ‘list’ on Nurse With Wound’s first album in 1979. Music from 60s/70s French Underground.

Danger Mouse/Karen O - Lux Prima
Edwyn Collins - Badbea
The Mountain Goats - In League With Dragons
Her Name Is Calla - Animal Choir
Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell
Death Cab For Cutie - The Blue EP
Nick Cave - Ghosteen

Can’t think of any others that have been stand out this year, although I’ve not really been participating fully.

Don’t have, or really know, any of those

Forgot that from my list. Good album but a tough listen if you’re feeling fragile, her voice bleeds an upset that’s difficult to listen to at times

Purple Mountains - Purple Mountains
Rammstein - Rammstein
Lana del Ray - NFR

and 10000 Russos - Kompromat :+1:

:flushed: You just made me listen to that repetitive, thrashy nonsense :unamused:

 :+1:

I didn’t manage to listen to it in 2019, but the new Colour Haze album is definitely high up there for me!
