S l o o o w, turgid build up, dodgy defence, comfortably beaten at home by Iceland - did we seriously trouble their keeper?

Absolute rubbish.

Favourites for the Euros?

Same old, same old.

Iceland were 40/1 to win.

For context even Sheffield United weren’t that big a price away at Man City last season.

Yet England are still clear favourites to win the euros at 7/2.

Jockey Hansen is seriously ill in hospital.

Kevin Campbell’s been seriously ill for a couple of weeks now too.

The word is he’s responding well to dialysis.

I’ve just heard he’s died.

Hope I’m really wrong there.

I was fortunate to watch Alan Hansen throughout his Liverpool career, usually from the Kop. What an amazingly fluid, elegant player, he always appeared to have oodles of space around him. An amazing footballer and team player.
I do hope your news is not true.

Ten foot tall survives.

As for Hansen: legend.

Enough time to give him a new contract and then end up sacking him in December anyway

Fucking hell, who put Pickford’s name forward for that press conference.

Every answer starts with “yeah” and he manages to squeeze at least another couple into Every. Single. Sentence.
