I’ve been fancying pork chops for the last month or so. We’ll try them like that.

Garlic bread to start. Apparently, a lot like pancakes, the first ones can be inclined to stick, so this minimises the risks of throwing toppings all over the oven

Venison stew with damson gin with spatzle. Nice Riesling with it too.

Did you make the Spätzle yourself Tristan? Through a colander or similar?

I don’t make anything Rob! My wife didn’t either. It came from here -

His sausages are superb. We had the cheese frakfurters on the BBQ the other night. Lovely crispy skin and tasty.

Looks good mate, Spätzle can be really messy to make. I like it with goulash.

It’s good quality. I’m not sure where else you can get it. Meat was from Costco, which again is one of the only places we can source it.

You can get venison steaks and cubed in most supermarkets, certainly Asda and Morrisons anyway. Must get round to getting a card for Costco.

Can you. Didnt know that. It’s worth getting a card. You’ll find more and more stuff which is good value. Their meat is top notch. Steaks, ribs etc etc. Frozen bags of prawns. We don’t have a petrol station but most stores do.

Think I can get a discounted one through work, sometimes they offer free stuff like wine to join too, will keep an eye out for the next offer.

The wine is my favourite bit. SO much better than Majestic.
