BBQ’d leg of lamb (rubbed with garlic, anchovies, capers, rosemary, lemon juice and zest), roasted stuff including fennel, and red wine gravy….

Lunch : Cherrystone clams grilled with a splash of Riesling , wild garlic and shallot compound butter home baked crispy baguette to mop up the juices.

Borough Market Jim, Wanstead do have clams but typically Carpet Shell clam size, perfect for Spaghetti con vongole e bottarga.

Leftover magic from Ann (remains of yesterday’s lamb roast). Shepherds pie with cheesy bubble n squeak topping. Delish…:yum::yum:
