That was actually fol2’s meal. I had a seafood platter.
Mussels a la creme with samphire, potted mackerel, (and hiding under the copious pea shoots at the back) hot smoked salmon and chilli mayo prawns.

What is? The plating is a bit weird, but Alice said the fish and especially the chips were great

Yep, the plating and the portion size, really.
The plating I’ll agree, but the pic is deceptive. That plate was massive, the piece of fish about 14" long and the chips were huge - fat triple cooked monsters.
That’s what I always tell 'em
