Is there pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert? Or, indeed, a sweet potato pie served with the meal? Any side dishes containing marshmallows?
If the answers are no, relax it’s just a roast turkey :slightly_smiling_face:
In any event, it’s an opportunity to drown a mountain of mashed potatoes in turkey gravy. I see no problem here

In fairness, the food will be great. I am told that as well as turkey, there will be buttermilk cornbread, cheesy cauliflower wedges, roasted vegetables with pecan crumble, thanks giving peas and duchess baked potatoes. Pecan pie bars for afters. Pics to follow.

I would destroy that whole batch of pecan pie bars. I absolutely adore the stuff

I ate an entire pecan pie last Saturday over the course of a couple of hours :disappointed:

Now that looks like a spread to give thanks for

The best thing was the vegetables with toasted pecans. The baked potatoes were luxurious. The cheesey cabbage was very good too.
