When Toronto’s gone but not forgotten Sam the Record Man removed the vinyl from the sales floor due to “lack of demand” back in the rise of CD days it was all stashed on the top floor of the store in a poorly light room. They eventually allowed access to it. At the time, vinyl collecting was a very niche thing, so it was rare to run into anyone else up there. I would devote an hour or so of my Saturday record buying looking through things. The records were in old retail display bins and lots of industrial metal shelving, completely unorganized. You just picked a rack and started flipping through. Found this there, really good album and nice pressing ![]()
Everything was priced at wherever it was labelled at when it went up there, think that was around $6.99Can. ridiculously cheap price. Managers and employees that recognized me would give me a further discount off the total bill once I had been up there a few times
The Hana sounding very good with this ![]()
