It’s from 2017 Kev - it’s a beauty as is earlier album A Jockey’s Christmas.
2017 surprised me as Richmond Fontaine broke up in 2016 and The Delines overlapped.
Seems that 2017 was a re-issue, it was originally released in 2008, same year as A Jockey’s Christmas.
Two more to check out!
Thanks Al ![]()
Ah ok I’ve just been streaming it so it only shows up as the re-issue ![]()
Are you going to see him ?

If it was a music gig I would have gone, but doubt I will go to that.
A London gig has to be something really special for me as fares add nearly £50 to the ticket price
I think it came with the book of the same name. I have a ripped copy which I think I got when I borrowed the book from the local library.

It’s a mix of the book and music - Brighton not worth a pop ?
Fuck!
I never saw that.
Will defo get a ticket ![]()
This is the blurb from email about the gig from the CCA ![]()
“Willy will be touring the UK and Ireland in support of the release. These ticketed events will feature conversation about the book and songs that inspired THE HORSE as well as a handful of Richmond Fontaine and Delines songs performed by Willy. Available for sale only at these events will be an illustrated short story featuring drawings by longtime collaborator Nate Beaty.”
An all-time classic
Is that Dr Octagon album the one that features ‘Blue Flowers’?
