I like what he has done here, I was hooked at the mention of a vibraphone tbh but he uses drums and percussion as the principle movement and then adds in a range of other textures with timpani, xylophone etc to create some lovely pieces which take me somewhere. First track on side 2 might be my current favourite.
Its skillfully done and hard to pull off a swerve like he has done from garage guitar riffing to this - something that Andre 3000 failed to do imo with his aimless flute album.
