Great drummer but no Joey Jordison , imooc
I’ve never heard of either of them TBH but 46, Jesus.
Yeah, I know, far too young. One of the halcyon moments of my gig life was to see Joey Jordison replace Lars Ulrich of Metallica, at Download 2004 I think it was, when Lars fell ill and was hospitalised.
Epic performance.
Nice.
Surprises like that are the best.
When Brian Tatler of Diamond Head came out to play Am I Evil with Metallica the entire audience was “err, WUT?”
Although an old colleague went to see the “Ninja” Nine Inch Nails / Jane’s Addiction tour when a rando in a black T strolled onto the stage and the keyboards picked up the wugga wugga wugga and the audience twigged that it was Gary Numan and they were about to play Cars, well he said he genuinely feared for his life
His drumming on Death’s Individual Thought Patterns album is amazing. Human Drum Machine indeed.
Now that would have been amazing.
Mono
Amazing how this thread differs from the equivalent in the glory days of the 'Wam - can’t recall the last time I saw that album on here, but back in ~2005 it was every night, sometimes several times
Deffo a more eclectic demographic nowadays!

Anyone else’s opinion of what I listen to is of no consequence to me. That is how it should be.
AA is a safe space as far as I am concerned. A self-governing cuntiverse that welcomes all xenomorphs, even Snow Patrol fans.
My world…
Preach it! I can almost feel my horizons narrowing as bits fall off; music is a sanity saver
