The best music rises out of the eternal nothingness as if it always existed, as though it were an old friend, heard a hundred times before, yet invigoratingly fresh, truly timeless: ‘River Man’ in particular has this quality, and is an actual masterpiece, ‘'Cello Song’ closely follows in its wake. It’s all good.
And I’m honest-to-god still wondering what to play next…
