Talk about strategically placed. Aussie cricket captain Greg Chappell showed off his masterful skills as a batsman in December 1979 when a streaker ran on to the field at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Sporting a majestic mullet [sic] and ciggie in hand, the streaker sprinted on to the pitch and made it all the way to the crease. Chappell and wicketkeeper Rodney Marsh were lauded for a citizen’s arrest of sorts, and wrestled the naked man to the ground. The streaker was then arrested by police and charged with offensive behaviour and wilful exposure. He was one of 33 people arrested at the one day match against the West Indies.

I wondered whether Mirren was recreating the infamous Ari Up incident when she was on stage and needed a pee. But somehow the trousers and platforms on the other two don’t look like anything The Slits would have worn.
