The beautiful and now sadly derilct West Pier. Tragically burned to it’s stumps just as it was about to be rescued. And amazingly, just after the rival Palace Pier had been taken over by a somewhat notorious local family. 

The drawing pin hole at the top is a nice touch. Obviously this was pinned to the control panel to remind the torturers how the victim should be connected - in particular the placing of the string of fairly lights (?) illuminating the groin.

I visited John Howes vintage audio museum today. Crammed with mostly Voigt, Lowther & Dynatron pieces. Dynatron were big on those sorts of dials & knobs. Well worth a visit if you’re ever in the Heathfield part of Sussex.
I’ll be going in the next few weeks. Looking forward to it.
