Rather fewer people remember how the short, aging, desperately unfit - but ludicrously-talented - Tazio Nuvolari, driving an obsolete Alfa Romeo, did the same to nine vastly more powerful Mercedes and Auto Union “silver arrows” 85 years ago at the 1935 German Grand Prix - held in the uniquely challenging “Green Hell” of the Nurburgring, in what is recalled as the Italian genius’s greatest ever race…
