Reminds me of what my mum was telling me over the weekend. Her uncle was born deaf, but learned to lip read both Welsh and English.

Although I did know a chap who for twenty years would crash out just by looking at a Valium

Can’t remember the docs name. But there was a private doctor who would meet on certain underground platforms selling prescriptions in the 60s

Guaranteed it still carries on, but in more civilised surroundings
It’s only really just a notch up from dealing
