Except that’s not Bowie.
Lol! I wonder if that pic was posted up somewhere yesterday by any chance?
Are you in there too Wayne ?
VB
Yes I am
(or at least was I haven’t been there for yonks).
There was a picture of me in front of the Flying ‘A’ doors at Longbridge getting an award in my 20s.
I think we need to see it !

Sadly I don’t have a copy
I only found out that it was on display after an ex colleague who still works at Gaydon told me.
It’s just me looking about 12 years old shaking hands in front of the famous glass doors with Walter Hasselkus who was Rover Group Chairman at the time.
How the brick wall, lower row, one from the right, avoided getting shot is quite beyond me.
The boy has “bullet magnet” writ large on him.
Absolute unit.
I thought it was Colin Milburn at first
The bloke beside him is having to deal with some serious manspread.
It appears my grandparents honeymooned round this way in 1945. These were some of the postcards (we also have some they collected from Leamington Spa, which we didn’t know before we moved here).
One of many great products from English Electric.
