I think The Fall were playing in NYC at the same time as Wray - Wray was one of MES’s all-time heroes I believe.

I have one of these somewhere, along with most of the Van Dike posters. A book was published recently about the club featuring many of the posters / flyers and gig shots.

Peter Russell’s record shop was a big part of the scene in promoting the upcoming club nights and in turn selling the records from the visiting bands… Sadly Greg Vandike had the members list of the club and did a fairly good job of buying back the record collections and ephemera from previous members…Grrr.
