Ha Ha ! Yes, we were accused of the same although it was just coincidence. I was growing mine and Narelle was waiting to return to London (Pic was taken in Abingdon) to have a cut. A few months later we looked like this…

Often the backstory adds so much more to the image.

Barbara Ledermann, a childhood friend of Anne Frank, outside a cinema showing the film “The Diary of Anne Frank.” She stood debating whether to go in. Finally she decided not to. “I’ve seen too much human suffering already,” she said. 1959

Narelle has spent the last 4 years, decluttering the photo albums. Dismantling would probably be more appropriate. We had 50 plus encyclopaedia sized albums taking up valuable vinyl space, so they had to go. All the albums were scanned and labelled. The total contents of these and the other boxes of misc pics amounted to over 7000. But still there was some missing.
As a surprise, Narelle found the “lost” photos and scanned them this week.

These are some…

The year was 1987. The event was Narelle’s ex’s 30th birthday.

and place… :grimacing:. Reminds me of those hideous multicoloured jumpers that they sell at the Vic Market (the cardigan is nowhere near that bad though).

This kind of thing…shudders
