We had Pet’s at my school with expensive external 8inch floppy drives. I remember spending ages copying programmes from the back of PCW and then debugging them. It set the seed for a career in IT from my 20’s.
That was my Dads from work. It set the seed in me to actively avoid a career in IT.
For ten seconds I was trying to work out what the naked body parts in the picture underneath were. Then I realised that there is no picture underneath and that’s your hand. It’s been a long day I guess.

I recall my Dad having a Commodore PET at home. 8K of memory & programs loaded from cassettes.That must’ve been 77-78 or thereabouts. I can only remember writing little programs in BASIC on it. I think he moved on to an Apricot within a year or two.
