There’s no shortage of land in Russia, and not that many people really. So as long as it’s not inside the MKAD when a building becomes redundant I guess there’s no great need to knock it down. Maybe they just walk away and let time and nature do the job for free.

Not really old but in an older style. Perhaps capturing a slice of American life that’s being gentrified out of existence. I found it quite an interesting place to visit when I went a few years ago. Bought some good records there.
