My grandad had one of these when I was 8 or 9. I managed to put a hole in the lining fabric of the roof with a bamboo fishing net. I had never seen him angry before…

Hi,
All the buildings are still there but none of the the shops are still the same. The churches have been sand blasted and cleaned up. The hospital (far left) has had the entrance blocked so cars can’t drive through it.
How it used to look when it was the workhouse.
