Anyone up for a weekday bake? - Wed Nov 27th

I’m still on the M1 south of Loughborough. Some folk just can’t resist crashing today.

Just got home and walked the dogs - 1.5 hours to get there, nearly 3 going back - and that was just rush-hour traffic!

Bloody worth it though - really enjoyed the day: great to see everyone, some great music played, and some superb equipment playing it.

Add me to the long-list of people really impressed by the Diptyque planar-ribbons - best panel speaker I have ever heard, by far: Quad eat your heart out!

Equally impressed by the Borresen standmounts - the ‘hype’ is true!

Couple of pics:

Big Thanks to Nick for hosting!

Thanks for a great day Nick. The main system sounded spot on and it was enjoyable to hear the recent additions.

Musical highlight for me was the barbershop track through the panels. :+1:

Many thanks Nick, great to hear your system in its new setting, finally.

Been quite a few years since I’ve made an AA/forum event, nice to catch up

Hope everyone got home without too much hassle

Good luck getting through the food mountain over the next few days Nick!

I love the look of the panels.

Can I ask who they belong to?

They are Nick’s.
I think this will get you to the post, when he got them.

FWIW, ‘acapella’ would be closer to the reality.

And it really did sound magnificent through the Diptyques! :+1:

A most enjoyable day, many thanks Nick! Great see everyone again and hear Nick’s excellent kit.
Another motorway wait due to a crash on the way home, so 4.5 hours down and 4 hours back for what should be a 2.5 hour journey.

What a nightmare Dave. Hopefully it won’t put you off coming again. Maybe I should stick to a weekend next time.

Just chance Nick, could happen any day. The trip was well worthwhile, thanks again.
