I am based in the Isle of Man and have discovered a pair of AR-3a speakers in the attic. They are in original packaging. Oiled teak. No cables, untested/untouched no restoration or cleaning. The delivery address is my childhood home so my father had these since mid 70’s at least. My father’s hi-fi was his pride and joy.
I would like to sell them, would there be any interest and is this the right site to do this - especially given my location may be problematic

No idea if you will have any joy here,but have you taken the grills off to check the drivers?
I know a lot af the AR speakers had perished bass surrounds due to age and sunlight.
If they are all good and working properly,either Facebook or gumtree might be best to see if anyone locally is interested. If not,then with all its faults,eBay.

Thank you for that information, I will need to carefully investigate.
As much as I’m hoping to sell them I’m hoping to find some who will appreciate them as my father did.

Indeed! I had an old set of AR’s and the foam surrounds were dead by around 2001 lol. It’s likely these will need a refoam also.
It’s worth noting that in the likely event they need repair, there are specialists who can do this, so they are not basket cases, albeit value is reduced.
