That was at a Bicester Heritage meet a few years ago. Every (and I mean every) detail on it is exquisite.
What gives with the cut-down roof? It looks fab, but takes a brave man or a fool to try to get that many complex curves to match-up again! Homologation thing?
No, that was the original design. It’s deep in the body so overall headhight seated is normal.
It’s been chopped 3 inches.

Yeah, the Aurelia does have that hunkered-down “dog-taking-a-shit” profile, so I had to google it to check -
The chop certainly emphasises it nicely
