Car Wants (maybe once, but now just anything Jim can find on the internet. 🙄)

Spent 20-min following this view at the weekend, in the Malverns

at the time i was none the wiser but at a quick t-junction stop before it went of saw a porsche badge and a 718 sticker. #i guess it was an RSK replica based in Gloucester:

Looked and sounded lovely!

That depends where we are driving it, on or off road? :grinning:

Got a drive in this

which is one of these.

Utterly glorious machine driven properly on a little handling track by its driver.

That mkii! :star_struck:

Hope you handbraked it around a bomb-site car-park Sweeney-villain style? :ok_hand:

It was driven in the manner you would expect of a sporting gentleman, vigorous but with decorum.

It almost went in the Horrors thread :grinning:

It’s a bit of a hybrid……shit but fun.

The front hubs look like they needed to be manually locked/unlocked?

They’re a thing. I had them on my Airportable Land Rover. They allegedly improved MPG, but can’t say I really noticed tbh.

Lots of American and Japanese trucks used them up into the 80s

Given that’s Newport Pagnell, it’ll be something to do with Export 56 who have largely decamped to Cranfield but keep a small premises behind the Swan.
