I actually like that Bremont. They make some nice watches, and a lot more near-miss watches; but what really lets them down is the fact theyâre 3 times the price they should be.
Are there any current production watches that are well made and donât conjure a migraine when forced to gawp at 1327 cogs, miscellaneous neon do-dads & dials with bezels that dowse for dark matter? Preferably not the size of Gran Telescopio Canarias and certainly not painted in a premeditated attempt to be snazzy, zany or celebrate tastelessness.
Lovely, but I would prefer it in silver/stainless steel. I am a fucking luddite when it comes to watches. There are a load 1950âs Longines that are somewhat visually similar to that which I would be equally happy with. I possible might also have many tens of thousands of pounds worth of change from the PP if I bought the Longines.

Seemingly insufficient for a 5196. I may have to actually sell some shit. Already my interest is squaring up against my black belt sloth.
As you appear to have no single tangible anchor point for this quest, the sensible answer would be to get thyself unto a large, rambling dealership and look at some actual wristwatches in the flesh. It is a truth universally acknowledged that watch websites are fucking useless for working-out what you will actually really like in reality, and you may well chuck good money away working it out the hard way.
