Eddie ‘makes’ some lovely watches but they are just too small for my wrists of ham.

I think i will be buying a tan bund for this. A fella who makes them can supply 22 and 24mm straps so i can wear with a few watches.

Afternoon all, I’d like to draw attention to my new and very unhealthy commitment to building a Seiko collection. I know you’re desperate for the context, here it is:

This forum/thread is partly to blame, igniting what was only a passing interest in watches previously

A couple of forum members have literally waved their clocks in my face which increased the temptation further

I inherited the white-face Seiko 5 from my dad a couple of years ago (which I chose for his birthday in 1986!), so read up on Seiko and was drawn to their broad and deep back-catalouge of interesting designs, the engineering heritage and ‘world-first’ claims, and most importantly the fact I can actually afford to buy a few that I don’t think are embarrassingly shit.
So, three weeks in, the collection’s building nicely and the plan is to stop panic-buying cheap pieces and work towards a more significant purchase; perhaps a high-beat Lord Marvel or King Seiko, or a Speedtimer, to raise the stakes a little
