Here’s another one, albeit Tiffany signed
I know the seller well, and he knows his Pateks (very) well.

34mm - Yay for me anyway. Lovely.
Just me disliking the proportions of the hands then. The centre boss of the second hand stands out in your first photo and the angle of the picture made the minute and hour hand seem off width wise to me.
Not like I’m gonna buy it though
I feel that I have one more watch in me, so it would have to be pretty special.
While this one is nice it’s not “all that”.
Indeed and if it’s a Patek then it can’t be time only as the last special watch. Got to go annular calendar at a minimum.
Have you ever owned anything off piste like Arnold and Son?
No idea how much these go for, but would love one of these:
Charles Frodsham Double Impulse Chronometer – A COLLECTED MAN.
Also most of that websites stock too
Love their watches.
Love the clean lines for the complications in the ALS Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, 720.025F, Platinum. Really don’t like the traditional 4 sub dial variants, but this one is easily readable. Px on a Doxa probably won’t be cutting the mustard any day soon
Oof, that’s very on-the-nose.
When I first knew this guy he was sales director at an independent jewellers. The annual calendar was the default answer to “what do you recommend?”. A bit jazzy, a bit complicated, a bit expensive, but not too much of anything.
At the time that wasn’t really where I was at, but sadly it’s now going on 30 years later and it probably is where I’m at.
There was also a default answer to “what anniversary is [any number of years]?” - “Diamond, Sir”
Well I did once have a massive 1980s Panerai diving compass
(not my picture - I think it must have predated my ownership of a digital camera)
and here’s a mad Belgian modelling the 2004 version of it
That is bang on my lottery-win list. Beautiful
Cliche though it is, Patek just do annual calendars better than anyone else.
5205 for me:
Nah I’m all for putting the ‘horror’ back in horology. A garish UN El Torro for me in the perpetual calendar way please.
Cheaper that the PP too so enough for a freak as well. Bargain.
Somewhat overstyled.
Got myself a Diver for washing up and plant watering duties, an SKXA53.
Replacement chapter ring and some genuine Seiko kanji days because of Japanese man. Probably need to get a bracelet for it but I’m happy for now
Nope.
I don’t know what it is (Longines at a simple guess from the length of the lettering on the dial?) but it’s not a Panerai.
I thought you’d posted up a photo of Paul Weller by mistake there Kev
It looked like she was shooting a laser out her forehead.
It is a screen grab from a News Agents you tube video so not a posed pic.
Hard to get the watch in focus.
