Cocks on clocks (Part the Second)

Well that’s fucking horrid - why?

Yes, questions arise… mainly: wtf were they drinking?

Looks quite a lot like the (Gerald Genta) Bulgari Octo.

That’s actually a reasonable one. Some of the variants are truly nasty.

Certainly looks like it!
One well worn watch :grinning:

It certainly is …was serviced last year. In use it’s around 2 sec /day accuracy…which is amazing. One of those cases where the service cost is more than the monetory value…however I wouldn’t be without it.

Sorry but that’s what the Cartier tank is for. At a lower cost and better looking (if that’s your thing).

Too small for me at 39mm, but looks OK for the money…

Erstwhile friend, now influencer (I’m the only one who didn’t manage to monetise being in the right place at the right time) is pushing it.

The basic shape has form with the jumbo Ellipse. But I’ll grant you that the complicated one gopping.

Recent purchase, thanks to @Mrs_Maureen_OPinion posting the sale at House of Fraser.
Spotted it there, but bought from Canada much cheaper.

Quick update to my adventure with Nordgreen.
After being blown away by the quality of the Native I bought I went ahead and ordered a Pioneer. Sadly it’s nowhere near as well put together and finished as the native, and as the piccy shows the chrono seconds hand is well of the mark when reset.

My OCD can’t deal with the misalignment so it’s going back for a refund. It’s also super chunky, and way too big for my wrist, so any recommendations for an affordable stylish chrono on the smaller side (38mm max) would be appreciated. :+1:

Slightly drawn towards the midnight, but I am “with drink” so further consideration in the morning may be sensible!

Go orange - then when you regret it, I can buy it off you - I’ve been vaccillating over buying one for 5 sodding years now: I LOVE how it looks, but I know I’d never actually wear it - too dressy for my slovenly, uncouth ways…

That was my second choice, but don’t fancy the jeopardy of the sunbed sessions required to match the colouring! :fire:

Hi …I’m not 100% sure on thiis. Being a quartz chrono …I think it may have a zero reset function. I know quartz chrono movements I’ve had in the past have had this. By pressing and holding certain pushers in a sequence you should be able to reset Zero on the chrono hands.
