Lovely What size is that? 40mm?
Yes 40mm
Now that is special! Lovely
That is properly fucking nice!
I still find it somewhat depressing that I sold my lovely IWC 3521 for £2250 back in 2021, just under the values for the time, would have been a great investment to keep it as its getting on for trippled since!
Accuracy since service ? - 0.6 secs. It was + 1.8 prior to service.
That’s just lying it normally, face up , when not wearing.
I do think the fuckers have given it a bit of a buff tho. I’ve looked at it under a x10 loupe and I was sure there was a chamfer on the edges that has now gone along with the main scratches not being as obvious.
Can’t be totally sure it’s not my imagination but -0.6s is still good craft.
Reminds me that Rolex really missed a trick not equipping the current Air King with the green glass of the Milfgauss - upside being it saved me ~£6K
Fuck!
Now you are talking.
So, a few months in and the Certina has not required winding once. Despite me often wearing my Zenith and Garmin watches for days.
For the first time since it arrived I’ve just had to wind it back a minute. It’s basically gained one minute in nearly three months. That’s pretty impressive time keeping for a £500 (£1k full price) automatic.
I still love how it looks. The quality is superb.
Absolute stone cold bargain and a wonderful thing to own.
Its a modified (made cheaper and longer power reserve) 2824, which is a decent movement.
I have one in my daily wear Tissot bargain.
Given who makes them, you’ve got 95% of an Omega with a movement that’s a lot cheaper to service. Really rate the brand - one for people-in-the-know rather than brand-name poseurs
Lovely
SLGW005G?
Lovely thing!
I wish. It’s the original version - 4522-8000 (or 45GS).
