Cocks on clocks (Part the Second)

that’s hideous.

I like that chunky look on this one. I think the less rounded bits help with this look. Still can’t afford it though.

I agree.

So many, so, so many of the watches on her just leave me dry.
A while back I hummed and hahded about getting my watch repaired (new movement) thankfully Maureen told me to STFU and do it. I did it and never been happier.
I love my watch, many won’t. It’s not special but I do, so there.

Maybe a pic of what it looks like might help?

Edit: Spoke too soon.

I should try and find a battery for mine to be honest.

I’ve had a few watches (still do) but this one is a daily. I love the size. I love the weight of it. I love that I can read the time. Only thing that gets me is the date window. Too small and always rong. Still don’t care.

Yeah, I’m not really a fan of date windows but they must be a popular complication as they are on so many. Maybe just how many of those movements get churned out
A lot that I like have them mind.

I love those hands.

Yep. It’s a watch. It tells the time (and so much better after Dom put in a better movement).
I’ve seen similar sterile watches but didn’t know about sterile stuff before I bought this. Thankfully it was an amazon massive discount buy which was cheaper than any of the sterile prices I’ve since seen.

Not a brand you see very often, always great value for money, and I Iike the Germanic styling.

Had this on today - divisive looks, quartz too, but I’ve had it a fair few years (rare for me), and I still enjoy it, battered and in questionable taste as it -

Really liking these Detomaso watches, at £130 they seem to be a real bargain (the discount ends today)

If nagra made a watch…

Designed and QA’d in Germany, made in HK. Neither of those are bad things in this day-and-age.

That’s nice.
