Ooh, for the serious enthusiast I just spotted this on the Phaidon website:

Whilst I know that Lavazza will probably get looked down on by many, Ferran Adria is a fucking legend of the culinary world.

London Coffee Festival. Mar. 27th - 31st 2019. :cake:

anyone one used one of these for espresso on their travels?

Is it meant to look like a fancy butt plug?

maybe you could administer a coffee enema with it. Just make sure you got brown sheets on the bed, a brown floor and of course a brown ceiling…

Looks interesting and slow!

From the product description:
Easy to use and clean.
Durable and hygienic.

All it needs is “Real flesh feel”

Can you give a resume of the initial mass of coffee the masses of added water & the timings?

27 grams of coffee, 385 grams of water, total time about 3.5 mins.

I cheat and use https://kohilabs.com/kohi-app/ and adjust as needed.

Hasbean app also has a ready reckoner for ratios.

iPhone only, go figure

Given those quantities of coffee & water what was the amount of each quantity of water, how long to pour it and the gap to the next pour?
