Cricket, lovely cricket (Part 2)

Damn! He seemed to forget which way the left arm wristy’s stock ball turns!

Haha, Ben Stokes, saying that ‘Umpires call’ should be ended has lead to several marginal decisions going England’s way in the field, and now a reprieve while he is batting!

Shit.

Could do with another 100 or so in this last session.

Shit! :flushed:

There was never much promise of longevity in Hartley’s innings.

Robinson didnt inspire much confidence either!

Not convinced that 000100 every over is going to work. Sooner or later you would think a ball has your name on it.

Surely there has to be an attacking shot every so often?

Is 192 enough?

:man_shrugging:

10-3 at the close would be nice

Really seems to be an “anything could happen” pitch. Could be enough, or they could make it without losing more than a couple of wickets, it seems

Not sure! But whatever, India’s fightback has been superb. :raised_hands:

It’s odd that right through the game, there has been periods of domination by the bat, but then the bowlers have got on top and the ball starts to do all sorts. It then becomes difficult to get the ball off the square. If England can keep it tight like they did in the first innings, India won’t have it all their own way.

Not sure we need too many leg stump half volleys from Root!

Too many full balls on leg stuuuuuump! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Awful bowling.

India have been fantastic today but England handed them the initiative far too easily.

That 20 minutes at the end was very poor, should have been an opportunity to put pressure on them but instead we bowled 3 or 4 good balls in 8 overs, the rest was dross.

Yep, as I said yesterday… Its going to be tough for England to string enough sessions together to win. They are playing a team that is studded with world class players in their home conditions.

Ashwin, Jadeja and Kuldeep bowled fantastically today after a superb knock from their keeper to bring them back into it. At the end there, England just looked short of experience. :man_shrugging:

England’s spinners on top, but have they left it too late?

With India needing 9 more, talksport commentator: “come on England, it’s now or never”

Fuck Talksport.

At 120-5 we were right in the game, another quick one then might have done it but Gill and Jurel were superb.

Much closer than 5 wkts suggests, though India did deserve the victory.

Dharamsala on 7th March for the finale.

Woody’s back.
