Despite the poor start, England comfortably into the final.

Great fielding, intelligent bowling, great result.
England need 9 more wickets, they’re not defending this total unless they bowl them out.
Indeed, 150 against this Aussie side was never enough to defend.
England are just going to have to content themselves with being the second best T20 side in the world.
They’ve had a great competition but were never in this final.

This is going to be a bit LinkedIn, but it does seem like Bazball has gone through the standard disruptor cycle. Start with original thought about the status quo (in this case justifiably) and do things differently for good reason gicen the personnel involved. Over time that clarity of thought disappears and is replaced by a self-referencing cultural hegemony within the organisation that becomes blind to the compromises and problems that they have made for themselves and fails to notice that they aren’t actually as good as they think they are.
