Cricket, lovely cricket (Part 2)

Nice! And this is where not scoring can fuck you.

Watching the (many) replays, that was Bairstow’s catch

He barely moved

Great catch by Root.
Can’t blame Australia, looking at the weather forecast for Sunday and Monday, pretty grim.
Saturday not that great either though should be ok.

Kawarja got memed by the umpire taking his time there.

TFFT my glass eye was going to sleep

He’s on one

Broad is one of the streakiest bowlers ever. And I mean that as a massive compliment. When he gets on it, it all seems inevitable.

Indeed.

Labuschagne and Khawaja took 239 balls to score 56 runs and now that doesn’t look so clever

Get in!

Jimmy, at last. Suckered him into that.

Rooooot!

Ahahaa.

I was listening to the morning session on my drive today and the scoring rate seemed bizarre, really odd tactics. Looks like that will bite them on the backside. Labuschayne, the world number one batter, 9 runs in over 80 balls. Just strange, even if the bowling is good.

Good session.

The play acting in Brook’s over was great!

He’s still using him, obviously just to get to the new ball.

And Bairstow can’t even catch his dobbers :rage:

What a piece of fielding by the sub

Booooo!

Sloppy again Johnny

Aaaargh!

That looks really harsh to me. :man_shrugging:

Fuck off that’s out

Could have gone either way I suppose but it was very, very close.

Bairstow making contact with the stump before he had the ball probably swayed it. I wish he would just fuck off and we get a proper keeper in.
