So, how come Finch, Head, Stoinis, Zampa or Tye (who all played in today’s ODI) didn’t feature in the Ashes team?

I think all players in odi cricket need to score relatively quickly but there needs to be a blend between those that accumulate and those that twat it to all parts. The game is about partnerships, in whichever form imv.
