Cricket, lovely cricket (Part 1)

I went to the first two days of the BDT 19 years out of 20 in Melbourne. Best way to recuperate from Xmas and avoid the misery of the sales with the Antipodean. Haven’t been to the opening day of a test in the U.K. since the early 1990’s though.

Kohli suckered.

Pujara ??

Ha! Was it? I took my eye off the tv and then saw him walking off. Maybe walking off for lunch…

Was shocked if Kohli, couldn’t see him playing that shot just prior to the break.

Kohli was looking unimpressed

The wicket has swung the session England’s way anyhow.

He was trying to get Steve in the game but didn’t catch it clean enough

India shading it, I reckon.

Proper test cricket for a change. Wickets hard to come by and some proper application from the Indian batters.

Test cricket requires gumption from both sides. This test could be really good.

Now that’s a word :+1:

c Pant b Bumrah. Titter.

England need a partnership.

They need to stop hooking the fucking bouncers, calm down and take some time

Only the openers managed to get into the 20s…

Buttler stranded
