Cricket, lovely cricket (Part 1)

Not getting any better this morning, having one let alone two players bowling at 90+ mph is such a potent weapon.

At least his height will add a bit of variety to the attack. Weā€™re still short of real pace though.

After a week or so of watching Hundred matches, thereā€™s something wonderful about test cricket. Nothing like there being a solitary run on the board after 2 overs, and getting to watch some extremely tight bowling from England.

77-5 has to be a very good morningā€™s work after losing the toss!

105 - 7 even betterer ! Conditions for batting improving all the time.

Well done Zak Crawley in very difficult circumstances.

That looked like extremely hard work but heā€™s still there and that ball is getting on a bit now, so job done, for now.

Fantastic innings from Stokes and Foakes. 200+ lead should be match winning.

Handy 21 from Broad and all is good in the England camp. Hoping Foakes gets his ton!

Had a busy day and have just seen the highlights.
Well played England.

Foakes of course went through quite a period where he wasnā€™t considered for the test team as England needed a wicketkeeper/batsman :grinning:

If Ben Stokes has a bad knee, I would like two of them please.

Absolutely steaming in and causing serious problems for the Saffers.

Very impressive,
Great effort by Stokes and the superb use of the new ball.
Another record for Anderson, 100 career wickets against South Africa

Nice way to end it. Full pint (would have been if it wasnā€™t a fixed in stump!).

Comprehensive.

Shame this is only a three test series

Golf is officially stupid.

The obvious replacement on recent form being the opener that they will still be reluctant to select.

37 for 6
5 slips.
What is going on with test cricket?
The pitches? Or just an inability to bat long over games?

Crazy.

Lol thatā€™s the worst review Iā€™ve ever seen
