This is an interesting idea:

It’s one thing to be able to customise the frequency response - that’s been around for ages. But these run tests on your ears directly, then use the results to automatically adjust it. Neat. Probably bollocks, mind.

It’d be interesting to try as my ears are buggered. Especially my left ear which doesn’t hear upper frequencies too well.

I imagine that those that have lost hearing due to loud repetitive noise might benefit from this. Although a properly fitted and calibrated hearing aid might be a better choice!

if your hearing is ruined. Presumably everyone else will have their ears ripped off?
