Do you mean “Pont L’Évêque”, or is there some tiny place I’m not familiar with? If you’re in Pont L’Évêque I trust you are stocking up on excellent calvados (I recommend Pere Magloire).

I was picking up a few bits and bobs from M&S and on the way out popped next door to B&M for a nosy and clocked this lamp base for £10 on a clearance shelf as it didn’t have a shade. I’ve got the very thing says I.
Well pleased actually - it’s a perfect colour match for the shade although it looks lighter in the pic.

Was doing a bit of retail therapy today and scored this brand new mirror - we had seen a very similar mid-century one in an auction but got trounced by the price it went for so I couldn’t believe it when I saw this all for the princely sum of £49.
