Donald Trump finally announced as some massive in-joke (Part 2)

Being that it’s Bob Hope, I’m guessing his wretched comedy act

I will give him the benefit of doubt then.

Audi is holding all their cars arriving in the US after 2nd April at the ports following a 25% tariff being applied.

I doubt that will bother Trump.

But other tariffs will be reduced or dropped completely depending on his mood and perception of what is important.

For instance, money in his pocket is important. You can buy a tariff reduction. (See above - Tim Cook.)

I wonder what fraction of the US’s imports from China, in dollar-value terms, are suddenly not being charged any serious tariff ?

EDIT: If I add the numbers up from the table here https://www.visualcapitalist.com/visualizing-chinas-dependence-on-u-s-trade/ then Consumer Electronics ($96B), Clean Energy and Batteries ($15B) and Semiconductors ($9B) come to $120B out of a $500B total. That would be a quarter, roughly. There might be more stuff hidden in other categories which is also now exempt.

A Hoodlum smashes all the shop windows in the street then holds up all the shops deliveries… shopkeepers earnings plunge. The shop owners are relieved to pay protection to the hoodlum to continue to make a living.

He’s like a dog that pukes on your best rug, then eats it and looks at you as if to say “Aren’t I a good boy?”

Just shows that the art of the deal is just to tell Trump to fuck off.
Hopefully this will stiffen the resolve of the rest of the victims of his bullying.

How many MAGA fans does it take to change a lightbulb?

None. Trump just tells them it’s already been changed. Then they all stand in the dark and cheer.
